It all actually started out as kind of a joke that ended up taking off and turning into something beautiful.
A conversation about the title of my future autobiography started, I originally threw out “Here’s My Thing” - one of my more commonly used phrases, except that was voted down as it just didn’t have the ‘mmph’ I felt my story needed.
We moved along to “I’m Not Violent, but I’ll Crack Your Teeth: A Look Into The Everyday Life of a Lover and a Fighter” - also voted down as it’s a little wordy, could you imagine saying that multiple times a day?

After throwing a few more ideas around, Pizza & Pigtails was born, mostly because I used to sit in my bed fort - yes, I at 30 years old had a bed fort - with my hair in pigtails, eating pizza…which I still do, just the fort has been traded in for a big girl bed.
I decided to create this website so I could showcase and share all of my creative outlets with those who also have a love for them.

I have to admit, I never thought this would be as successful as it is, I like to keep my expectations low so I’m not disappointed.

That’s a joke…
