First off, let me say that Marco’s is a franchised pizza chain with multiple locations; however, I can only give my review based on the location I have actually visited.

I first found out about Marco’s when I moved to Windermere a few months ago, I was super excited to find the location is less than a mile from my house. As we all know, pizza is the first love of my life, so it’s only natural that on the first night here, I celebrated my move by trying this place out.

Located at 14387 Bridgewater Crossings Blvd, Suite 120 in Windermere, Florida, Marco’s offers Dine-In, Carryout, and Delivery from 11:00 am - 11:00 pm (please check your local store for their operating hours as they do vary by location).

I have ordered from this restaurant multiple times using both their dine-in and carryout options. They offer online ordering at their website Marcos Pizza for those of my readers who are like me and aren’t a fan of ordering over the phone - or you can also download the app, which is super easy and so much faster to use.

The restaurant is on the smaller side with low and high top table options, and is always clean no matter how busy they tend to get - always a plus in my book. I love the diner feel of a more vintage pizza place. It takes me back to my childhood of movies or arcades and pizza for dinner, having fun chats while playing a game of UNO waiting for our pies to come.

Marco’s has a wide variety menu offering more than just pizza. Maybe one day, I will skip the pizza and will try one of their subs, salads, wings, cheesy breads, desserts, or their Meatball Bake. Consisting of meatballs and sausage baked in their three-cheese blend. Sounds delicious! - They have a variety of Pepsi products, which I won’t hold against them as they also carry Dr. Pepper.
**They now offer pizza bowls, which is an awesome blend of toppings, cheese, and sauce without the crust…it’s amazing, and if you’re looking to keep your carb count down, definitely for you!

I do have to admit, while the staff at this Marcos are always super friendly, when they first opened, I always seemed to have an issue…from my pizza being made incorrectly, slow service, an employee trying to charge me a second time after I had already paid, to even having my pizza being given to someone else, and then they tried to up-charge me after they offered to give me the larger pizza.
I have been a FREQUENT visitor - if you follow me in Instagram, I’m sure you’d agree that I should probably buy stock in the company - the service has definitely improved, two thumbs up!

On to the main event. The pizza here always tastes great!
Starting at just $6.99 for a Create Your Own, and $10.99 for your Specialties, it is also a great value for what you get. I personally go for the Small pizza which is a healthy 10”, as I am usually by myself, and their pizza is on the heavier side due to the amount of yummy they put on it.
The 12” Medium feeds two perfectly.

The crust is fluffy, although dense. It is pretty heavy duty, and full of taste. The sauce is on the creamier side, which I really enjoy as it isn’t choppy like some sauces tend to be. It has a lighter flavor so it that doesn’t overpower the other ingredients. My favorite part of the pizza is the cheese. I feel the quality and flavor of the cheese can definitely make or break a pizza. Marcos has a three cheese blend that is amazing, smooth, light, and it always does the melty string thing when I pick up that first slice!
I recommend getting the Old World Pepperoni, while it tends to make the pizza a tad more on the greasy side, it’s DELICIOUS and has a wonderful crunch to it, the veggies taste fresh and bright, adding a wonderful flavor to the pizza.

All in all, I recommend Marcos as a place to grab a bite, while it doesn’t earn a full pizza - although pretty darn close - it’s quite tasty.

Check your local store for deals and also look into their Loyalty Rewards program, where you earn one point for every dollar spent. Once you reach 100 points, you are rewarded with a $10 certificate to use towards your next visit.

Marcos = 7/8 slices!
